Hoops for Hope is the annual 3 on 3 women’s charity basketball tournament that raises funds for the Miles of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation.
Each year we dedicate our efforts to honor an individual who exemplifies the spirit of our event. This year, Hoops for Hope will be held in honor of 12 year breast cancer survivor and long time volunteer Cathi DeLeon. Cathi lives in the Dutchess County town of LaGrange with her husband Raoul. She has 2 grown children. When she is not running the concession stand at Hoops for Hope or captaining the Breast Cancer Boat at the Dragon Boat races every summer at Peekskill Days Celebration, or helping at other Miles of Hope events, she works at the Vail Farm Elementary School in the Arlington Central School District as an Administrative Assistant to the Principal.
Hoops for Hope allows women of all ages and abilities the opportunity to play basketball in a competitive or less challenging arena depending on their choice of division.
The 2011 tournament raised over $40,000 for the Miles of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation. With 48 teams and 500 players it was the biggest tournament of its kind in the area. Five hundred spectators came to cheer on their moms, sisters, daughters and friends. See photos of the 2011 tournament.

Multi-Event Sponsor ($5,000) - Name/logo on t-shirts at 4 sports events (Hoops for Hope, Family Fun Run, Goals for Hope, Community Walk), gift bag item at Brunch and Walk, name in all publicity for all 5 foundation sponsored events, logo and link from our website.
